Part 3 Robert Jackson Financial Secretary For those of you still wondering if  you should have gotten a cost of  living allowance increase in  January or April the answer is we  will not.  Without getting too  technical, we still have not gotten  Consumer Price Indexes that are  high enough to cause us to receive  an increase.  The CPI average for  July of 2008 set a very high level  and until we reach that level again  there will not be any increases.           Weingarten Rights      You have a right to representation at any time management discusses disciplinary action with you.  The decision that guarantees this right has been upheld by the Supreme Court.  The ruling reads as follows: “If this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined or terminated, or affect my working conditions, I respectfully request that my Union representative, officer, or steward be present at this meeting.
