Monthly Meetings Please try to attend your monthly membership meetings. Help us to make our Union better. Be involved Our spring fling this year was a great success.  We had a great turnout and the food, entertainment and fellowship was enjoyed by all.  This spring fling was setup to accommodate A and C crew.  The weather was a bit warmer than we would have preferred but this is North Carolina.  For those of you who did not attend you missed quite a lot.  We had great food, ice cream, snow cones and soft drinks.  Black’s Tire Co. provided barbeque, chicken fillets and sausages.  Heavy D cooked up his usual great fare of hamburgers, hotdogs, fried chicken, fried fish, french fries, beans and cole slaw.  Many of our members brought their children and grandchildren out to enjoy the train rides and bounce castles.  Fort Sill National Bank provided prizes and set up a tent where they did face paintings and gave out ID information packets. Share Plan Rollout The share plan for the Fayetteville plant was rolled out to the employees on Tuesday June 29 and Wednesday June 30.  Employees spent time with the plant share committee members, members of management and even our new plant manager Billy Taylor.  Plenty of food and drinks were available and plenty was consumed.  Employees had a chance to register in each of their representative business center display areas for prizes.  We  had a barbecue cook off to see who cooks the best.  Samples were tasted and votes were given.  Our shop stewards and management personnel worked together to make this a success.
